High Prairie South Dakota / Nebraska Upland Bird Hunts:

 

High Prairie Outfitters offers fully guided South Dakota pheasant hunting and SD upland bird hunts in both South Dakota and Nebraska.  Expert pheasant hunting guide Dave Ciani uses his extensive education and expertise in wildlife management to identify high population density areas of birds statewide.  All of Dave's upland hunts are completely customized with the option of guided pheasant hunts, sharp tail grouse, Hungarian partridge, prairie chickens, quail and sage grouse.

You will also be hunting over professionally trained Deutsch drahthaars, English pointers, and purebred Labradors.  You are more than welcome to bring your own dogs. There are a wide variety of open prairie and grassland options that are available to give pointers, retrievers and all breeds a great workout.  Dave is more than happy to assist you in field training and getting young dogs on birds throughout your hunt. 
 

These guided upland hunts are ALL WILD BIRDS! These are fair chase hunts that take place throughout the states of South Dakota and Nebraska on thousands of acres of PRIVATE LAND.  For those hunters who would like the opportunity to hunt for larger limits of birds or would like additional training for their dogs, preserve hunts are available upon request.  Expert guide Dave Ciani will personally guide you on each hunt and can accommodate group sizes of 2 - 20 hunters. Dave farms for upland and pheasant. Therefore the upland-hunting habitat will vary extensively.



At the time of your booking, Dave will present you and your group with a variety of hunting options including five star private lodges with first class gourmet meals, as well as more economical options such as clean and comfortable area motels that cater to the hunting clientele.  Most of these lodging establishments will allow your dogs inside as well.
